The Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard roadway improvements project will enhance a key corridor from Mitchell Street to JE Boone Boulevard. Scope of work includes a roadway mill and inlay, the installation of a new two-way center left-turn lane, and geometric re-alignment of the intersection at Mayson Turner Road. To improve safety and aesthetics, the project also features pedestrian infrastructure upgrades, a new mid-block crossing, signal coordination and modernization, as well as new landscaping, street lighting, and hardscaping.
